 Illinois workNet will be hosting a webinar featuring   guest speakers who will be panelists at the Symposium. They will answer many of your questions about opening your own business, getting started, facing challenges, and finding resources and supportive services.

 Our presenter for the webinar will be:

Portrait DeTonia Gooden-Business Services Coordinator, Southern Illinois University Center for Workforce Development and part of the Illinois workNet team.

 Our guest panelists are:

Joanne Tica-Steiger-Director, Business Support and Alumni Services, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative. Provides one-on-one business advising and technical assistance to program scholars.
WBDC Meg Herman-Director of Entrepreneurial Services Women's Business Development Center-Chicago. Coaching emerging entrepreneurs to develop their businesses to be effective and sustainable over time.
